On behalf of our partners, Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS), the Social Development Commission (SDC), and most importantly, all of the Daddies and beautiful Daughters, the Milwaukee Fatherhood Initiative (MFI) would like to say, THANK YOU! Because of your attendance, the 10th Anniversary Celebration of the Annual Daddy Daughter Dance was a magnificent success! Dads, we offer you a mammoth, "man-sized," slap-on-the-back thank you for recognizing and understanding the uniquely special bond that resides within the Father/Daughter relationship. In spite of the more widely popular and accepted negative images and unfavorable media portrayals of modern-day fathers, escorting your daughter(s) to the dance reflects your appreciation and acknowledgement of the understanding of just how important your role as "DAD" really is. Video and pictures from the 10th Anniversary Daddy Daughter Dance will be available soon. Who knows, you - and your daughter - just might be surprised at what you find!.

Dennis Walton, Outreach Coordinator with the Milwaukee Fatherhood Initiative (MFI), introduces Take 25 to members of the Parklawn Housing Development's Resident Council on April 15, 2013." "Residents were fully engaged in Mr. Walton's presentation and asked lots of questions about the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children's Safety Program. Mr. Walton was inundated with so many inquiries that he ended up staying around for the entire Resident's Council meeting in order to answer the many questions asked of him."
